Annette O’Toole and her warm and courageous Martha Kent was the primary adult female role model and mentor to the young female characters and actresses on Smallville. This month, we here at SMALLVILLE WOMEN, BIG HEARTHS are raising money for the GLOBAL FUND FOR WOMEN to celebrate inspiring ladies, like Annette/Martha, from the show. Donations help to provide much needed grants to women’s organizations around the world that nurture women and girls and empower them to be leaders and role models themselves.
